Oh, don't get me wrong, it was. I wouldn't have had it any other way. I'm not as familiar with the NCAA, but I know the EMASS meet is going down as one that will be remembered in MA for a long time to come, and I imagine this one will be no different amongst NE colleges\/universities.<\/p>

That being said, it is a good thing that these meets were the last meets (well, meets of note) being held at Franklin this year, because it is going to take about a year for that course to recover

This meet was a mess... literally. Here in MA it has been pouring since last night and it kept pouring through most of the day. That made the course bad enough, and then this morning the Eastern MA HS Divisional State Meet was held at Franklin (8 races worth, and a great meet btw), which tore it up and made it even worse for the college guys even though the rain was slowing down when they toed the line. Parts of the course were literally underwater, and the rest was basically a mud pit. Absolutely crazy.
